Here's the description of the series from Dave Dellenbaugh:

A new 4-part webinar explaining the 2025-2028 Racing Rules!

Hi! As you may know, a new quadrennial set of racing rules will go into effect worldwide on January 1! Because the new rulebook includes a number of substantial changes, I'm devoting an entire webinar series to explain the 2025-2028 Racing Rules of Sailing in depth. I hope you'll join me.

The new rulebook will include changes to the rules about mark-room, obstructions, contact, barging, proper course, tacking in the zone, and hailing for room to tack, plus a major reorganization of protest procedures. So this webinar will be an invaluable resource whenever you go racing in 2025 (and beyond).

Parts 1 and 2 of this webinar series will explain significant changes in the new rulebook and how these will affect your rights, obligations and tactics around the race course. Part 3 will be full of educational quizzes about the new (and old) rules in various scenarios, and Part 4 will give in-depth answers to participant questions asked before and during the webinar.

The webinar begins Monday, November 18 at 7:00 pm US Central time and continues on the following three Mondays. Each session is 90+ minutes and includes videos, diagrams, animations, and quizzes. Content is geared toward racing skippers and crews with intermediate or advanced rules knowledge, and participant questions are welcome throughout!
