Siege Lesson

Prerequisite: Ground School, Intro to Sailing, & INTRO TO KEELBOAT SAILING or a Badger Sloop Light Rating
 

Siege is a 33ft fractionally rigged racing yacht. Lessons will focus on racing techniques, tactics, racing culture and rules, communication skills, crewing and skippering, and judgment. Topics covered vary depending on conditions. They include boat handling, flying a spinnaker, operating under motor, selecting sails and rigging, among others.

The lesson will meet by the yellow canopy. Lessons will proceed in all weather except thunderstorms. Please dress appropriately and expect cooler temperatures on the lake.
