Heartsaver First Aid Course

Description: The Heartsaver First Aid Course is a 3.5 hour course taught by Dean Health Plan. This course covers first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, and preventing illness and injury. Heartsaver First Aid is useful for those looking to get a more general approach to first aid than WFA/WFR. It is not taught with a wilderness emphasis but can still be applicable to wilderness trips, as well as daily life. You will also receive a student workbook.

Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive an electronic American Heart Association course completion card sent to you by email within two weeks from the date of the course. Successful completion requires skills practice and testing. Heartsaver course completion cards are valid for two years from the date of your training.

Cancellations: Can be made up until 3 weeks before the course date for a full refund. After this time, cancellations for full refund will not be accepted unless approved for special circumstances.
