Description

Location: See the Today-in-the-Union DIgital Signs located in Memorial Union, or check here.

This on-land lesson will teach you about making adjustments for heavy-wind sailing, in-depth sailing theory, right-of-way rules, and how to sail a dinghy in a comfortable and confident manner. This lesson will help you matster dinghy sailing and prepare you to step into our higher dinghy classes, including 420s, Bytes, and Lasers.

It is reccommended that this lesson be taken after a few RS Zest or Tech Lessons, though ratings in these fleets are not a prequesite to take this class.

This lesson must be taken before taking a 420, Laser, or Byte lesson.
Please watch for email from your instructor in case of any last minute location changes (you may have to check and properly set your spam filters to make sure you receive Hoofer communications).
