Event Information: The Winter Education Series is a weekly lecture on a variety of sailing topics presented by Hoofer Instructors, Members, and Alumni. These stand-alone seminars are free and an active membership is not required to attend.
This week's lecturer is Mills Botham, the Hoofer Sailing Club Head of Instruction, who will give an overview of the storied history of the Hoofer Sailing Club. Mills has been with the Sailing Club in varying capacities for 12 years. He's worked with and learned from Hoofers from many different eras and walks of life, and is excited to share some of their stories.
Location: Check the Today in the Union website or the digital signs in Memorial Union on the day of the lesson. Note that the event start time may appear earlier on the TITU listing but will begin at the time shown here. If the event does not appear on the TITU listing, please go to the Outdoor UW Office and speak with the staff to determine the event location.
